Viennese Waltz Lessons: Where to Start
If you're new to Viennese Waltz, or you know a few figures and want a clear path, this page is for you. I've put my Viennese Waltz lessons in a simple learning order: the basic and advanced routine first, then three tips for your turns, plus a few general Ballroom lessons that help. Work through them in order, and come back to any step whenever you need it.

Three tips that make the biggest difference: close your foot flat on the backward half of every turn, think of the dance as linear rather than spinning, and use the "I go, you go" principle with your partner.
